'Israel' is killing children because it wants to kill children. Palestinian children are the future of Palestine and 'Israel' does not want a future Palestine. That's why 'Israel' is massacring children and macerating everything needed to keep them alive. The point of a system is what it does, and we've all been watching 'Israel' methodically kill children for months now.

'Israel' doesn't even hide its intentions. IOF t-shirts read ‘1 Shot 2 Kills’ over an image of a pregnant Palestinian. Israeli footballer Shon Weisman said, “the children of Gaza in 2014 became murderers in 2023.” Settler WhatsApp groups say “eliminate today the terrorists of tomorrow.” The 'Israeli' state drops flyers with names and pictures of children that it is blackmailing and threatening with death. These sorts of statements are endemic in the non-endemic colony.

There is both a very public bloodlust towards the young of Palestine and a very public policy of killing, abducting, abusing, and starving them. 'Israelis' say what they're doing and then they do it quite openly. They want to kill Palestinian children because they want to kill a future Palestine.

Theory

Why genocidal maniacs behave like genocidal maniacs need not be more complicated than this (children are the future, therefore kill the future), but I'll complicate it anyways. Demographics are destiny and this is the destiny 'Israel' is trying desperately to deny.

Imperial Theory

The future 'Israelis' are trying to prevent is one where they're equal with or, shudder, outnumbered by Palestinians. Minority colonies like South Africa failed while genocidal colonies like Canada and Australia succeeded, and 'Israel' is trying to join the latter camp. Their 'clean' solution is genocide and ethnic cleansing rather than apartheid. This is the choice Professor John Mearsheimer outlined in a recent talk to CSIS. He said 'Israel' has four options, two of which it doesn't wanna do, making it a binary choice.

What's very important to understand is that inside Greater Israel there are roughly 7.3 million Palestinians and roughly 7.3 million Israeli Jews. There is rough equality between the two sides. So the question is, how does Israel think about dealing with Greater Israel where you have rough equality between these two populations?

There are basically four options. One is you have a democratic Greater Israel. That's not going to happen because it would no longer be a Jewish State. If you look at demographic patterns, the Palestinians are making more babies than the Israeli Jews, so that's not happening.

The second possibility is a two-state solution. Everybody loves to talk about a two-state solution. That is not happening, certainly after what happened on October 7th. Even before then, Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli elite had no interest in a two-state solution.

The third possibility is apartheid. Basically, what you now have is an apartheid state. We can go into this in detail in the Q&A if you want to do that, but if you look at Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and B'Tselem, which is the leading human rights group in Israel, all three of those organizations have produced lengthy reports that lay out why Israel is an apartheid state.

The fourth option is ethnic cleansing. Ethnic cleansing means getting rid of the Palestinians for the most part who live in Gaza and who live in the West Bank and creating a Greater Israel that is completely dominated by Israeli Jews and has very few, if any, Palestinians in its midst.

So again, the four options are: number one, a democratic Greater Israel; number two, a two-state solution; those two are off the table; number three, apartheid, which is basically what you have now; and number four, ethnic cleansing, where you get rid of the Palestinians.

Apartheid and genocide are thus only two possible choices within the—at this point—deeply twisted 'Israeli' mind. Before October 7th, 'Israel' (and America, same thing) had chosen apartheid, while calling themselves the 'only democracy in the region'. Some democracy, putting half the population in cages, under unequal rights, or just terrorizing them away. To be honest, all democracies are based on violent exclusion of certain people, but 'Israel' took it to absurd levels in the wrong century. They counted on time to slowly decimate the natives, as had happened in North American and Australian colonies, but they just didn't have enough years, and the natives had RPGs this time. I am, of course, saying this in hindsight. Even just last year it seemed like the apartheid wall was holding and, indeed, becoming normalized.

Before October 7th people were forgetting about Palestine and 'Israel' had established facts on the ground. They had delayed for decades with 'negotiations' between the sword and the neck, mediated by the knife. They were Swiss-cheesing the West Bank with settlements, periodically 'mowing the grass' in Gaza with heavy ordnance, and making deals with Saudi Arabia and UAE to make it all appear ordinary. Just one week before October 7th, American National (in)Security Adviser Jake Sullivan confidently said, “the region is quieter than it has been for decades.” Sullivan is, of course, a professional idiot, the kind that rises fastest in a foreign policy elite with zero accountability.

For American foreign policy 'thinkers,' the bipartisan view from generations of warmongers that have only failed upwards is always more war. The uniparty view is that America needs to 'pivot' away from old conflicts to start new ones (especially with China). As Trump's '2025 Mandate' document states, “President Trump’s Abraham Accords signaled the end of the centrality of the Arab–Israeli conflict, which paralyzed U.S. approaches to the region” and “by far the most significant danger to Americans’ security, freedoms, and prosperity is China. China is by any measure the most powerful state in the world other than the United States itself.”

Even Mearsheimer, who I like, broadly subscribes to this view, he just thinks American Presidents are not doing the pivot right. Mearsheimer has said (in 2014, in relation to the other 'distraction' of Russia) “good relations with Russia are essential, because the United States needs Moscow’s help to deal with Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, and eventually to help counter China, the only genuine potential rival to the United States.”

The broad foreign policy consensus is that America needs to get their dick out of the vise in the West Asia to put it in a blender in East Asia, certainly not to put it back in their pants like decent people. This is the broader imperial theoretical framework around Palestine, which was broadly shattered on October 7th.

Resistance Theory

To understand the other, non-deranged perspective, you need to read the Axis of Resistance directly. As much as imperial propaganda tries to encode anything Arabic as barbaric, the Resistance are extremely astute political thinkers, not extremists, and autotranslate is your friend. Hell, they even produce material in English. Hamas laid out their own theoretical and practical framework in the document Our Narrative… Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, which you should read for yourself:

In 'their narrative,' Hamas lays out the context well-beyond October 7th. They characterize the Al Aqsa Flood as “a defensive act in the frame of getting rid of the Israeli occupation, reclaiming the Palestinian rights, and on the way for liberation and independence like all peoples around the world did.” Which it was. I'll let Hamas speak for themselves here:

After 75 years of relentless occupation and suffering, and after failing all initiatives for liberation and return to our people, and also after the disastrous results of the so-called peace process, what did the world expect from the Palestinian people to do in response to the following:

♦ The Israeli Judaization plans to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, its temporal and spatial division attempts, as well as the intensification of the Israeli settlers’ incursions into the holy mosque.
♦ The practices of the extremist and right-wing Israeli government which is practically taking steps towards annexing the entire West Bank and Jerusalem into the so-called “Israel’s sovereignty” amid plans on the Israeli official table to expel Palestinians from their homes and areas.
♦ The thousands of Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails who are experiencing deprivation of their basic rights as well as assaults and humiliations under direct supervision of the Israeli fascist minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
♦ The unjust air, sea, and land blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip over 17 years.
♦ The expansion of the Israeli settlements across the West Bank at an unprecedented level, as well as the daily violence perpetrated by settlers against Palestinians and their properties.
♦ The seven million Palestinians living in extreme conditions in refugee camps and other areas who wish to return to their lands, and who were expelled 75 years ago.
♦ The failure of the international community and the complicity of superpowers to prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state.

What was expected from the Palestinian people after all of that? To keep waiting and to keep counting on the helpless UN! Or to take the initiative in defending the Palestinian people, lands, rights, and sanctities; knowing that the defense act is a right enshrined in international laws, norms, and conventions.

Proceeding from the above, Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on Oct. 7 was a necessary step and a normal response to confront all Israeli conspiracies against the Palestinian people and their cause. It was a defensive act in the frame of getting rid of the Israeli occupation, reclaiming the Palestinian rights, and on the way for liberation and independence like all peoples around the world did.

The crux of the imperial framework was that Palestinians will just sit back and take it and October 7th physically broke this framework. Now all the king's horsepower and all the king's ammunition cannot put Greater 'Israel' back together again. 'Israel' has no more deterrence power regionally and precious little deference from the 'international community' (re: western world), which is imploding under the weight of its human rights hypocrisy. 'Israel' will still continue to commit war crimes, but they're a wounded animal now. The apartheid state's collapse is just a matter of time. This is surprising to many, but the martyred founder of Hamas, Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, saw it coming before he died. In an interview, he said:

Ahmed Mansour: “As someone who witnessed the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, and now that this state has existed for 50 years – how do you see its future?”

Ahmed Yassin: “I say Israel was founded upon injustice and plunder. Any entity founded on injustice and plunder is destined to be destroyed.”

Mansour: “Even if it has power that allows it to survive?”

Yassin: “The power of no one in the world lasts forever. You start as a child, then you become a teenager, and a young man, and then you become an aged man, an elderly man, and then it’s over. The same is true of countries. They progress little by little until they become extinct. This cannot be helped.”

Mansour: “At what stage is Israel now?”

Yassin: “I say that Israel will be gone in the first quarter of the next [21st] century, inshallah. To be precise, I say that by 2027, there will be no Israel.”

Mansour: “Why that [specific] date?”

Yassin: “Because I believe in the noble Quran. The Quran tells us that the generations change every 40 years. During the first 40 years, we had the Nakba, in the second 40 years, the Intifada started, with confrontations the fighting, and the bombs, and the third [group of] 40 years, will see [Israel’s] end, inshallah.”

Mansour: “So this estimate...”

Yassin: “This is a Quranic conclusion.”

The great Sheikh lives on through Hamas and the Yassin 105 missile, currently putting the fear of God into 'Israelis'. And he seems right on time. The destruction of 'Israel' by 2027 would have seemed like an absurdity just a year ago, but now it seems quite likely, even inevitable. They are fighting for their lies by taking as many lives as possible, but the physical, political, and psychological limits are approaching quite fast. 'Israel' is a weird historical anomaly, fighting against the future and the past, killing as many children and brain cells as possible in a vain attempt to make the abominable last.

Praxis

So here we are between a rock and a hard place. Between stubborn imperialism and even more stubborn resistance. Though the Palestinians looked like they had given up, they were literally underground, preparing for the ultimate push for liberation. Though the region looked like it had 'normalized' apartheid, it was about to blow up along at least six fronts. This is the paradigm shift that happened on October 7th when 'Israel'—having no reverse gear—just jacked it into 4th and tried to run over 2 million people. Full on ethnic cleansing, in front of the whole world.

If you're going to apply ethnic cleanser, the best bang for the buck is actually children. In terms of years of life destroyed and people traumatized, children are the highest value targets. Which is why 'Israel' targets them so much. The logic is the same as the Nazis, as they tried to explain when they were tried for war crimes. Otto Ohlendorf, commander of Einsatzgruppe D, said (via):

The IOF, in fact, avoids battles with men as much as possible and prefers to massacre hospitals, refugee camps, and homes. They prefer going for children, so much so that the Resistance started playing recordings of children to lure them into ambushed. The IOF hunts children specifically. In the past, when they wanted to target militant leaders, they waited until they were at home with their families, to kill the children too. Just as they killed the children and grandchildren of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh recently. None of this is collateral damage. The cruelty is the point.

As Mearsheimer said, “The real goal, is to ethnically cleanse Gaza. The reason they want to ethnically cleanse Gaza is because, number one, that's the way you get out of apartheid. You all understand Israel is an apartheid state, and the only way you get out of that situation is you cleanse. Furthermore, it's the only way you defeat Hamas.” As the late Iranian Foreign Minister Abdollahian said, “Israel seeks to eliminate resistance entirely from Gaza & force Gazans to relocate. Targeting hospitals, schools etc is to force them to relocate. The Zionist regime's dream is to transfer the people of Gaza to Sinai (Egypt) and those on the western bank to Jordan.”

As former 'Israeli' National Security Council head Giora Eiland said (and as the current Finance Minister seconded): “The international community warns us of a humanitarian disaster in Gaza and of severe epidemics. We must not shy away from this, as difficult as that may be. After all, severe epidemics in the south of the Gaza Strip will bring victory closer and reduce casualties among IDF soldiers. And no, this is not about cruelty for cruelty’s sake, since we don’t support the suffering of the other side as a goal but as a means.” What are the means? As Norman Finkelstein explained, “The nub of the problem is neither disciplinary nor technical. It’s Israel’s murder plan: to make Gaza unlivable and to force its people to decide—starve or leave.”

The problem is that—despite seven months of vigorous application—the ethnic cleanser isn't working. 'Israel' is winning the genocide and losing the war, they are occupying the south and losing the north, they are exposing their corruption and weakness and losing all support. As Hamas's Khaled Meshal—who the 'Israelis' famously failed to kill—said during the recent Flood Of The Free conference in Turkey:

We are facing continuous aggression. On the other hand, by the grace of Allah, the message from Gaza, as you heard yesterday and before, is that the resistance is well, by the grace of Allah. It has repositioned everywhere, as Allah wills, and there is no power except with Allah.

This is a miracle from the Lord of the Worlds, a believing group triumphs over the war of the zionists and their allies. Gaza of glory stands against a world war led by America and some Western capitals with the zionist entity.

The resistance is well, and the popular cradle, despite its pain, is steadfast, rallying around the resistance. Some are in pain, but they are patient and enduring, all with the resistance, sacrificing the most precious they have.

The world is changing, and Gaza has revealed the authenticity in humanity; it has revealed the spirit in our nation. Today, we are witnessing a scene that instills confidence in victory within us. Today, this change in the regional and international arena tells us: We are the victors, we are rooted in our land, and the outcome belongs to us.

We see our enemy retreating, losing confidence in themselves. The enemy is eroding, and the crisis transfers to their internal ranks. They dispute among themselves because the feeling of defeat raises their despair.

Or as the sadly deceased Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said, returning it to the children in the 'popular cradle':

Peace be upon the oppressed, martyred children of Gaza. Peace be upon the children who have taken refuge in the Quran and recite its verses under the destruction and rubble of Gaza. Peace be upon the children whose bodies tremble in fear of injustice.

Peace, my dear children in Gaza. Peace be upon you who translated resistance for us, with your steadfastness today in the face of the most heavily armed militaries and most despicable people on earth.

Greetings to you, who with your small arms and thin bodies, have drawn for us the savagery of this enemy. Your blood-stained face and your dismembered bodies, your bones shattered by American bombs, they all chant that we are steadfast.

How sad, that such small martyrs are called so soon to Allah. May They welcome the children and, at long last, give them comfort. The wicked White Empire and the golden bull market it worships demands not just human sacrifice, it demands child sacrifice. The love of money, of oil, of spoils; this truly is the root of all evil. This is the unchecked cruelty of the White Empire (Americas, 'Israeli', Britain, same thing) which tries to copyright human rights and freedom, while violating them most flagrantly. This is why you and I must see so many dead children every single day, for so many unending days of unremitting trauma. This is what they want to do. This is what they want us to see. As the martyr Aaron Bushnell “This is what our ruling class has decided will be normal.”

Thus the martyrdom upon martyrdom of teenagers, children, infants, premature babies, fetuses. None of this is collateral damage. It is calculated cruelty. As Gramsci sorta said, the old world is dying, and the new world is struggling to be born. Now is the time of monsters. This is the time of child devouring monsters, resisted by the children they didn't kill last time (more power to them, the mujahideen). Now not just Palestinian children that survive but Empire's own children that have eyes are joining the Resistance. The Unity of the Fields is spreading to college greens and the Palestinian flag is flying over Empire's own ivory towers. Who knows what rough beast slouches towards Bethlehem, but nothing can stop an idea whose time has come. Sadly nothing can bring all the lost children back, but nothing—by the grace of Allah—can stop a free Palestine from being found.
