Now that the White Empire has found a poor population to drop expensive bombs on in Gaza, they’re cutting bait on Ukraine. What do you hear about Ukraine now? Crickets. The mechanical locusts of Empire have moved onto Gaza, to feed on poor souls without air defenses, NATO’s usual diet.

Today, privatized propaganda outlets barely cover Ukraine at all. Zelensky cannot get an audience of Capitol Hill or even Oprah. The same outlets also put out stories about how Ukraine is losing, or stalemating, and saying they need to negotiate. They are, as the saying goes, cutting bait. At the same time, the US Congress is not releasing more funds for Ukraine, at a point when delay means death. Joe Biden said they’d be with Ukraine until the end, and this is it.

When The Think Tanks Retreat

The think tank army is abandoning Ukraine first. In Foreign Affairs, the veteran swamp monster Richard Haas talks about ‘Redefining Success In Ukraine’ (as failure). In Wall Street Journal, some Carnegie felons say ‘It’s Time to End Magical Thinking About Russia’s Defeat.’ Of course, they still magically think this isn’t, thus, a defeat for NATO, which it is. The great imperial trick, however, is to get over the last war by burying some new people under rubble, which is precisely what they’re doing now.

The western elites are simply losing interest in fighting an actual army in Russia when there are women and children to kill in Palestine, which is much easier. The military-industrial complex is simply not geared for picking on someone their own size, which is the problem they faced against Russia. All of NATO’s heavy weaponry is geared for shooting fish in a barrel and completely falls apart if the fish has radar. They were still making good money losing expensive matériel in Ukraine, but it was bad marketing, seeing all that ‘lethal aid’ burn in public.

In Gaza, however, they get to test out sniper drones and new kinds of burning bombs on victims who are, on average, five years old. This is more Empire’s cup of bloody tea, and always was. These guys made their bones on genocide and the tree of Liberty™ must be frequently watered with the blood of innocents. So it was from the ‘settling’ of the US, Canada, and Australia to the diaspora of violent European tribes all over the world. They always killed entire populations, especially children, and Israel is simply imperial business as usual. It just looks atrociously out of place right now. But this is what they are, and always were.

The American military-industrial complex is almost exclusively geared towards what they call ‘counter-insurgency’. This is just the new word for the old practice of slaughtering natives. They have always called the natives ‘savage’ to justify the savagery unleashed upon them. Murder of civilian populations and ad hoc armies is what Empire is most comfortable with, it’s what they're founded on. Except for a brief interlude fighting each other over Empire in World War II, it’s most of what they do. Kill people, take their stuff, and call them savage for resisting. It’s the founding creed of western civilization. Israel is just the latest colony plunked in the middle of some resources they want, as part of the age-old strategy of divide-and-conquer. Palestine is just the latest place to be conquered.

The only problem is that it’s a bit late in the day now. The natives have anti-tank weapons, the slaughtered have smartphones, and Empire itself can neither raise proper armies nor produce enough weapons. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Even in this piece I am forgetting about Ukraine, because it’s so imminently forgettable. Suffice it to say that the think tanks are pulling out, which means the real tanks are soon to follow.

The Tanks Will Follow

Reading the western press (just privatized propaganda) is useless for understanding the world, but it does help you understand the worldview of these ghouls. Right now, they are ghosting on Ukraine quite publicly. Reading statements from western government is also useless (they’re lying sacks of shit), but you can look at their budgets, or lack thereof. As Genocidin’ Joe Biden said, ‘Don’t tell me what you value, show me your budget, and I’ll tell you what you value.’ By this logic, America obviously doesn’t value Ukraine anymore cause they’re not allocating money to it.

The dysfunctional US Congress has not approved further funding for Ukraine. They can barely fund their own country for two months at a time, but they always found tens of billions in the couch cushions for Ukraine. Not anymore. The unauditable Pentagon will move some of its blood money around for a while, but this filthy lucre is increasingly allocated for Israel, with Ukraine at the end of the trough. Meanwhile Europe can make pledges, but its population is restless and the whole place has deindustrialized without Russian gas. They’re not reliable either.

Ukraine is thus left friendless and defenseless at the worst possible time. They have to ‘show’ offensives to get further funding, but they can’t even defend what they have without further funding. It’s a Catch-22. Realistically even ‘funding’ is not enough because you have to actually be able to produce things and commit manpower to win wars, none of which NATO is actually able or willing to do. They’re fundamentally cowards used to dropping expensive bombs on poor people, not sustaining industrial warfare against a peer power. NATO is out of tinder and out of patience and Ukraine is, thus, shit out of luck.

The think tanks are saying that there is no more reason to fight this war, Congress is saying that there is no more money, and the western media is saying nothing, which is worst of all. The idea of Ukraine picking a fight with its neighbor was always stupid, it was executed badly, and now Ukraine is done. As John Mearsheimer said years ago, ‘we are leading Ukraine down the primrose path and Ukraine is going to get wrecked’. And that’s exactly how it went down. It’s already over. It’s just taking a signal awhile to reach the brain of imperial denizens.

Ukraine is not in the news anymore, it’s not in the budget, and think tankers are hitting them with friendly fire. Russia can advance at its leisure, America is about to shit itself in an election, and Europe never existed at all. Ukraine has been abandoned and is thus lost. The truth is Ukraine should have never picked a fight with their direct neighbor and their own Russian-speaking citizens, but here they are. It’s hard to blame Ukraine, because the last ‘pro-Russian’ government they had was couped and replaced with (also) corrupt compradors. As Henry Kissinger said decades ago,“It may be dangerous to be America’s enemy, but to be America’s friend is fatal.” Like many countries before them, Ukraine has found this out the hard way. America has no allies, only interests, and they’re just not interested in Ukraine anymore. It’s over.
