Biden was elected on the promise of at least not actively killing Americans. It’s another promise he’s broken. Biden has now killed more Americans than Trump, 424,000 COVID deaths compared to 412,000. And he still has three years to go.

In 2020, Biden said “Anyone who is responsible for that many deaths [220,000 at the time] should not remain as President of the United States of America.” Well, what the fuck is he doing?

The Trump administration said “we need to live with it” and the Biden administration just continued the same policy. They’re just more polite killers. For Trump you could at least say it was incompetence. What is it under Biden? At this point it’s culpable genocide.

Expectations

When the virus hit in 2019/2020 Trump incompetently said ‘this was unexpected’. I say incompetent because it’s a government’s job to prepare and scientifically another pandemic was considered inevitable. But the average person yelling at their TV wouldn’t know that, and Trump was that person. What’s Biden’s excuse?

By the time Biden came in, an entire alphabet of variants were already expected. That’s how alphabets work. Delta is the 4th letter in Greek and Omicron the 15th. Things were literally progressing in alphabetical order, and the Biden administration still said they were surprised. As VP Kamala Harris said:

“We didn’t see Delta coming. I think most scientists did not — upon whose advice and direction we have relied — didn’t see Delta coming,” she said. “We didn’t see Omicron coming. And that’s the nature of what this, this awful virus has been, which as it turns out, has mutations and variants.”

This is like saying you didn’t see B following C, and that K was totally out of left field. What the fuck are they talking about? Forget following the science, just follow the alphabet.

Biden was elected with higher expectations than this. The bar was already on the floor, and he just had to step over it. Instead he has somehow gone under. The result? 425,000 people buried six feet underground.

The Result

For all the bullshit about Biden ‘restoring dignity’ to the office, a lot of people have had undue and undignified burials. Like hips, numbers don’t lie. As Shakira and Jean said in their 2005 publication:

You make a woman go mad
So be wise (sí) and keep on (sí)
Reading the signs of my body (no fighting)

The way Biden has been talking is enough to make anyone go mad. Be wise? (no). Keep on letting 1000+ people die every day (please no). He’s not even fighting.

Instead, Biden has flattened the curve the wrong way, along the y-axis. It’s going straight up. It’s a singularity of shit. We’re talking a million recorded cases a day, in reality double or triple that given America’s shitty public health systems:

For people say Omicron is mild, shut the fuck up. It’s mild like Camels were ‘mild’ in early cigarette advertising. Omicron is still COVID, it still kills, and now even more ruthlessly seeks out the weak and unprotected. Omicron still kills and maims even vaccinated people, it greedily kills the disabled, immunocompromised, and children, and it still bum-rushes hospitals to the point that people start dying of anything else.

During the Ebola epidemic, it was estimated that as many people died from healthcare collapse as Ebola itself, and America is at that point. Don’t think you’re immune because that’s ‘Africa’. Africa in general has better public health than the United States. American healthcare was an unworkable scam before and now it’s just completely not working.

America’s corporate media still works, and they’re producing every more detailed infographics of how fucked they are. I don’t know why Americans insist on doing these morbid visualizations rather than just not getting the fucking disease, but deaths have already started ticking up, tracking last year. Just look:

You could say that Biden inherited a ghastly headwind from Trump, but these Omicron deaths are all him. Again, Omicron is the 15th letter of the alphabet. Children have to learn the alphabet but Presidents should know. Instead we have a grown-ass man playing peek-a-boo with a virus, and losing.

The Actions

Trump committed the original sin of ignoring a small outbreak, but Biden is compounding it by ignoring a bigger one. Americans also somehow got more relief from Trump, who quite openly hated them. It was under Trump that the government provided recurring stimulus payments, unemployment insurance, child tax credits, halted evictions, and suspended student loans. It is paradoxically under the ‘caring’ Biden that all this stuff is expiring.

Biden did pass a lot of relief with his $1.9 trillion relief package, but things are still fucked and no more relief is forthcoming. Forget Build Back Better, people are still getting deader by the day. Overall, Biden has delivered only 8% of promised social programs and 106% of military budgets (most of it going to private arms dealers). In lieu of big structural change Americans got a small cheque a year ago. It’s not nearly enough.

Perhaps worst of all, Biden was elected to restore institutions like the CDC and he’s just corrupted them more. Trump’s CDC was just invisible, but Biden’s is visibly deranged. Trump was a casually eugenist asshole who thought ugly sick people should fuck off and die, but now you’ve got Rochelle Walensky, Director of the CDC saying it. The ghoulishness!

“The overwhelming number of deaths, over 75%, occurred in people who had at least 4 comorbidities. So really these are people who were unwell to begin with and yes, really encouraging news in the context of Omicron.”

What the fresh hell is this? Comorbidities like diabetes are not a KILL ME sign, and for many people their comorbidity is Long COVID. This is just an abject failure of public health trying to blame the victims.

Furthermore (and there’s more) Biden’s CDC has followed business and not public health demands to reduce quarantine times to an amedical five days. Organizations, including hospitals and schools, are using this ‘guidance’ to send sick people back into superspreader situations, effectively targeting the vulnerable and unvaccinated.

Trump, as an asshole, spread COVID. Biden is doing it as policy. Biden’s effective policy is ‘let ‘er rip’. People called Trump a ghoul for focusing more on ‘the economy’ and keeping businesses open while people died, but that’s exactly what Biden is doing. These are his words:

“But it’s here now and it’s spreading and it’s gonna increase. … We are looking at a winter of severe illness and death for the unvaccinated — for themselves, their families and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. But there’s good news: If you’re vaccinated and you have your booster shot, you’re protected from severe illness and death,” the President added.

“We’re gonna protect our economic recovery. If we do this, we’re gonna keep schools and businesses open … and I want to see everyone around enjoy that. I want to see them enjoy the fact that they’re able to be in school, that businesses are open and the holidays are coming,” he continued.

How is this different from Trump saying the country would open up for a big, beautiful Easter? Here’s Biden, with the benefit of hindsight and half the Greek alphabet, blaming victims and protecting the economy.

Trump’s policies, in between his demented words, at least allowed lots of people to stay home. Biden is just shoving teachers, nurses, and everyone back into the wood-chipper.

The logic is just vaccinate working-age people and everyone else can fuck off and die. Trump would just come out and say it, and get rightly condemned. Biden acts all polite but enacts policy that’s demonstrably worse. He’s condemning millions to die (not to mention the tens of millions he’s killed globally through vaccine apartheid, hoarding, embargoes, and sieges). Trump was a criminal and Biden’s just a smooth criminal. Under Biden people are even more dead.

The Measurable and Immeasurable

Trump’s great sin was coming out and saying that he didn’t give a fuck. Biden’s actions accomplish the same deadly results, which is worse. Actions speak louder than words, and because of Biden, millions of people will never speak to their loved ones again.

These aren’t numbers–these are human beings, each experiencing individual tragedies—but they show up in the numbers as well. More people have simply died under Biden, and he still has three years to go. Millions will die on his watch, including possibly him.

America has thus experienced a failure of leadership not once but twice. Trump got them into a hole but Biden ignored the cardinal rule of holes. Stop digging. Instead, Biden’s rock-bottom expectations hit reality and produced actions that are not merely as bad as Trump. He's measurably (and immeasurably) worse.
